My friend, the artist Karen Azoulay, asked me to document her latest conceptual dinner party titled, Carnation Thunder. The event was held at Soho20 Gallery in Chelsea. Here’s how Karen describes the project:

“CARNATION THUNDER is a fizzy meditation on fireworks and a smoldering sampler of effervescent sensations. This conceptual dinner party will delight you with a parade of dishes, each an interpretation of how the shimmering explosions in the sky might taste.”
