I traveled to Egypt this winter and journeyed by boat up the Nile River. In addition to all the amazing, monumental historical sites, I also photographed the landscapes that drifted by as our boat cruised at around 12 knots. The smoke from the burning fields, and the dust blowing in from the desert filter the intense yellow sunlight quite beautifully. This was also another great opportunity for me to continue with my completely unscientific anthropological study of tourist’s behavior.
